AboutBuilding an Electric Substation in Colombia.
Colombia's energy market has been operated much like in the U.S.A. The energy in Colombia has been run like a free market, where any one can create and distribute energy. Also, in the passed 30 years, the energy sector has never missed a payment to its investors. Colombia is expected to grow at double the pace of latin america according to World Banks. Share of private sector in generation: 60%. 5th place in Latin America with highest competitive opportunities – “WEF – 2017”. 1st place in Latin America to protect investors – “World Bank 2018”.
The purpose of this substation is to distribute electricity to a town on the coast of Colombia that has struggled with energy these past years. They constantly have black outs.
This substation is targeting the opportunity to solve a need to the population of that town.
The investment will generate returns through a passthrough of energy that will be charged to the consumer.
